Microsoft kills AJAX?

The reason why I want to shift my career from being a .NET Developer to being a JAVA Developer is because of Microsoft. They just doesn’t know where to stop and when to stop, and therefore you don’t know also where to stop and when to stop investing. And here is a new thing… are you an AJAX Developer? If yes, just like me, watch this out, as I think Microsoft is very serious.

Microsoft promotes Asynchronous Ruby and XML development.

Move over, AJAX; Microsoft is pushing a different scenario, known as Asynchronous Ruby and XML, or ARAX.

Money or Professional Growth?

June 7, 2008

I am finally resigned with BlastAsia Incorporated. I know many people would think I got a higher offer.  Well, all I can say is that any monetary offer is just secondary (at this point of my career), and what is important is more on career and professional growth. My stay with BlastAsia is <no comment> as I see myself with no growth for the past six months, and that is reason for me to resign. Assigning me to another project should have been done sooner, but it wasn’t.

After month long of job hunting and off course turned down offer, I finally made a choice. I took the offer from an IT Company in Buendia Makati. Reasons, it is because of the JAVA Training which I really can’t resist. Even when I was in stag Philippines, I was actually looking forward for a company where I can be trained with the Java Technology. Unluckily, there was none, until this one. Well hopefully I could survive this big career move as Java and C# may be both OOP, but they are not the same.

More Microsoft Windows Promotion

June 2, 2008

I really couldn’t imagine how great technology is today. The time I learned how to use computer is when Windows 2000 already dominate the market. Though, my first experience was with its predecessor Windows 98SE. Anyway, here is a old video about windows 95. So for those complaining against windows, here is a trackback about what was used to be, and what it is now…
